| There are many different issues involved in creating
art that will be used for digital use, rather than for the press. Inks and
paper are replaced with light and screens. Knowing how something will be
displayed and or used is very important. For this client, it was necessary to work with the designers to colorize an existing graphic user interface for a lcd screen of a cosmetic laser surgery machine. Upon approval of the colors, the task then involved converting each and every possible option (over 300 graphic elements) into 4 bit (16 color) graphics. Not an easy task considering the client chose 8 primary colors, not leaving many other colors available to help smooth the graphics from one color to the next. |
